Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to nursing students
- Utilize learning technology and learning management systems (LMS) to enhance the learning experience
- Create and implement effective classroom strategies to facilitate student understanding and retention
- Utilize platforms such as Blackboard to deliver course materials and assignments
- Conduct research in nursing education to stay current with industry trends and best practices
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and improvement
- Provide mentoring and guidance to students, including academic advising
- Plan and organize lessons, including developing objectives, selecting appropriate resources, and assessing student performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred)
- Current nursing license in good standing
- Experience in adult education or teaching in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of nursing concepts, practices, and procedures
- Familiarity with learning technology, LMS platforms, and classroom management tools
- Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
