Instructor - History teaches courses in the discipline area of history. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - History provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - History typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. This postion is for an actor that will communicate with animated characters from history, in a murder mystery, or as a priate in an indoor show. Passion for history is good. Does not need to know extensive history. Should live in Port Isabel, South Padre Island, Laguna Vista and or Los Fresnos. Pay is a profit share of ticket sales. Shows will depend on demand but could be as simple as one time per week, several times one day per week, or more. You are not expected to do all of the shows as we will hire more than one actor.
