All American Gymnastics, a leader in the gymnastics field and state-of-the-art facility in South Dakota, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Gymnastics Recreational Instructor to join our exceptional team staff. Our gymnastics company has a strong reputation for producing Division I athletes and earned several awards in national championships at the highest levels.

Responsibilities:  

• Instruct gymnastics classes with a maximum class size of 8 students.
• Teach classes at various skill levels, including Red Stars (beginner level), White Stars, Blue Stars, and Navy Stars (older group).
• Establish effective communication channels with parents and students, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Provide instruction in beam skills, vault skills, and bar skills, following the lesson plan assigned by the Recreational Director.
• Conduct one-hour classes.
• Collaborate with other coaches to maintain a clean and organized gym area.
• Assist with substitutions when staff members are absent due to illness or vacation.

Requirements:  

• Previous experience as a gymnast or instructor is preferred, but not required. We believe in providing comprehensive training and support to our instructors, so even if you don't have prior experience, we will invest in your development and provide the necessary training to help you succeed in this role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students and parents.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate evening and weekend classes as needed.
