NTI Is looking for cyber Instructors/Developers to join our team, someone passionate about shaping the minds of aspiring cybersecurity professionals and developing cutting-edge cyber training programs. As a Cyber Instructor/Developer with the USAF, you will be at the heart of cybersecurity education and training initiatives. This position is not just about imparting knowledge; it's about shaping the mindset and skills of Air Force personnel to tackle the most sophisticated cyber threats facing our nation. You will be developing and delivering state-of-the-art training programs that prepare our airmen for success in the cyber domain.

    General Qualifications

    • 3-15 years of Relevant Cyber/ IT experience
    • Must have an active TS/SCI
    • IAT/M Level II - IAT/M Level III - DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certifications: https://public.cyber.mil/wid/dod8140/dod-approved-8570-baseline-certifications/

    Education

    • Minimum of associates degree to Masters in STEM and 400 instructor podium hrs.
    • Education requirements are based on which tier you meet.

    Certification(s)

    • IAT/M Level II - IAT/M Level III

    Knowledge

    Cybersecurity Fundamentals:

    • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, defense mechanisms, and the cyber threat landscape, especially as they pertain to national security.

    Educational Methodologies:

    • Familiarity with the latest educational methodologies and technologies, particularly those effective in adult learning and military training environments.
    • Plan, design, develop, integrate, modify, update, and instruct practical application student training missions, mission scenarios, and mission evaluation tests or demonstrations for in-residence courseware, MTT, non-resident, on-line, and ADL.

    Operational Cyber Warfare:

    • Knowledge of cyber operations, including tactics, techniques, and procedures employed by both U.S. and adversarial cyber forces.

    Skills

    Software Development:

    • Proficiency in developing software, particularly educational tools or simulations that can be used in training scenarios.

    Instructional Expertise:

    • Exceptional instructional skills, capable of designing and delivering content that engages military personnel and effectively imparts complex cyber concepts.

    Communication:

    • Strong communication abilities to clearly convey information, adapt teaching strategies, and provide feedback in a structured and supportive manner.

    Tasks

    Curriculum Development:

    • Design, develop, and continuously update cyber training curricula to ensure it aligns with the latest cyber threats, USAF needs, and strategic objectives.

    Training Delivery:

    • Conduct training sessions that utilize modern educational techniques, tailored to the unique needs of adult learners in the military, ensuring high engagement and comprehension.

    Simulation Development:

    • Utilize software development skills to create and refine realistic cyber training simulations, providing practical, hands-on experiences for learners.

    Operational Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with USAF cyber operations teams to maintain the training program's relevance and to integrate real-world cyber operations knowledge into the curriculum.

    Continuous Learning and Improvement:

    • Engage in continuous personal and professional development in the cyber domain to ensure expertise remains current, enhancing the value and effectiveness of the training program.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $75,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
