The Background Investigator will conduct public trust pre-employment background investigations for various Law Enforcement Agencies, focusing on providing a quality case report in a timely manner to the IDS customer.
IDS is looking for Independent Contractor Investigators with at least 1 year investigative experience.
This may be either as an intermittent employee or independent contractor.
The Independent Contractor must have a current and valid TX Private Investigator's License. Independent Contractor Background Investigators (1099) will be compensated on a completed item basis, not an hourly rate.
The Intermittent Employee (w2) may apply for a TX Private Investigator's License under IDS. The workload will vary, and work will be paid on an hourly basis.
