Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Legal Administrative Assistant or Secretary to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with significant experience in legal administration, who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced legal environment. The candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of the office.

Key Responsibilities:

*Provide administrative and secretarial support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating court appearances. *Handle legal documentation with discretion, ensuring all files are kept organized and up-to-date. *Assist in preparing and filing legal documents, briefs, and reports. *Conduct legal research and assist in case preparation. *Manage incoming calls and correspondence, ensuring professional client interactions. *Oversee billing and accounting functions related to legal services. *Ensure efficient operation of office activities and compliance with firm policies.

Qualifications:

*Proven experience as a legal secretary or administrative assistant in a law firm. *Knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and document management. *Proficiency in MS Office and legal software applications. *Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. *Strong communication skills and attention to detail. *High school diploma required; additional qualifications in legal secretarial work or paralegal studies preferred.

Additional Advantage:

Notary Public certification is not a requirement but will be considered a valuable asset.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
