```Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Law Firm Office Manager / Legal Assistant to join our team. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, managing administrative tasks, and assisting the firm's attorneys with case management. Duties

• Legal Case Management: Maintain current and accurate list of open case loads and files, use firm practice management software
• Office communication: Client interaction, court interaction, answering main phone lines, managing messages, returning calls and managing emails
• Financial: Billing and invoicing, accounts receivable, and all banking related tasks including deposits and balancing of accounts
• Managing schedules and calendars, working with important deadlines, and scheduling with colleagues, clients, and courts
• Administrative: filing, managing office supplies, managing any outside vendors and service providers used, process incoming and outgoing mail
• Assisting attorney with daily workload organization
• Proofreading and organizing substantive legal documents
• Occasional visits to courts for filing, hearings, etc.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle it with utmost professionalism

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge / experience with current technology standards, proficient in using office software applications, and excellent overall computer skills
• Experience with Law Office Management Software / CRM
• Knowledge of Legal Terminology
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize task load
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work with and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work independently and manage own task load efficiently
• Ability to be tactful, courteous, thorough and dependable with the ability to use good judgment
• A ParaLegal degree is helpful, but not required.
• Legal research experience is helpful, but not required.
• Experience in landlord tenant matters and family law is helpful, but not required.

We are a family oriented Law Firm offering a friendly and flexible work environment. Hours are typically Monday through Friday from approximately 9am-5pm, but occasionally hours outside of that range may be required. Pay and benefits commensurate with experience.
