Instructor - Legal Support teaches courses in the discipline area of legal support services. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Legal Support provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Legal Support typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Three Rivers Legal Services, Inc. has an opening for a full-time staff attorney based out of our Lake City Office. A desire to represent the needs of low income clients is essential. This is a litigation position that requires court appearances. Caseload includes eviction defense, unlawful detainer, foreclosure defense, replevin, probate, and other civil cases. All experience levels are invited to apply, from law school graduates pending admission to The Florida Bar, to experienced attorneys in good standing with The Florida Bar.
