Instructor - Legal Support teaches courses in the discipline area of legal support services. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Legal Support provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Legal Support typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. In this role you will:
- Start at the most entry level of our case administration work with the opportunity to grow into a more advanced role
- Work with clients and third parties to obtain requested documents and information
- Prepare and mail necessary correspondence and documentation to further the case
- Review and organize legal medical documents
- Schedule important case-related events
- Use and update the Case Management Software - following/learning our proven processes, driving efficiencies, ensuring accuracy and clarity, and keeping the wheels moving
- Empower Case Managers and Attorneys to work more efficiently and accurately, bringing better service to our clients
