POSITION DESCRIPTION
Legal Aid Part -Time Receptionist Position, Monday- Thursday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
Greeting visitors, assist with the application process and answer phones.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Meeting and greeting clients.
2. Complete application packet and go over with client.
3. Answering and forwarding phone calls.
4. Maintain calendars for appointments.
5. Keeping the reception area tidy.
6. Assist with agency fundraising.
7. Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director or Executive Director.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
The Part-Time Receptionist reports to the Associate Director and the Office Manager and is evaluated by the Associate Director.
EVALUATION:
The evaluation of work performance will be ongoing and will be carried out by the Associate Director.
Evaluation includes specific duties and responsibilities of the position description, plus employee attitudes and general working behavior. Formal evaluation will normally be performed annually, but may be initiated at other times by the Executive Director. Bi-Annual chart audits will also be performed by a professional peer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
I. High School Diploma.
2. Two to four years' experience in office work.
3. Knowledgeable and capable with computer systems.
4. High compassion level and tolerance for diverse applicants who come from differing backgrounds and cultures.
SALARY:
The salary for this position is 15.00 dollars an Hour.
