Busy Bees Pottery in Dublin, OH is looking for a pottery & arts instructor to teach beginning wheel and general art classes to our customers and students. Candidate will assist customers in the studio during walk-in hours and aide in running pottery and glass production. We are located on 6685 Dublin Center Drive. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged.

Responsibilities

Busy Bees Team members guide customers to choose their creative projects, explain how projects work, guide and aid customers, as well as run parties, maintain the appearance and functionality of the studio, and run the register.

We are looking for outgoing, friendly staff that can make a customer feel comfortable and give them directions in a clear and concise manner. Must be able to run a party, teach a class, assist multiple people at once, and make snap decisions.

Position includes evenings and weekends must be available Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Tips can be earned for great customer service! The studio is closed on Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, 4th of July.

Qualifications

*Candidates must have training in ceramics and working on the potter’s wheel. *Previous experience teaching adults and/or children. *Proficiency in illustration, acrylic, pottery, drawing, mixed media, and clay hand-building *Working knowledge of art elements and design principles *Minimum two years of experience in customer service, retail, or service industry *Effective time management skills *Outgoing enthusiastic personality who loves working with art enthusiasts of all ages *Positive attitude, team player, reliable, punctual

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $13.00 - $14.00/hour.
