Being an Instructor - Liberal Arts provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Liberal Arts typically reports to a department head. Full Circle Martial Arts, located in Orange City, FL, is dedicated to providing quality martial arts training and leadership development for students of all ages. We seek a motivated self defense instructor willing an able to help teach and develop a self defense course which focuses on real world scenarios, using techniques and ideas derived from all martial arts.
As an instructor, you will work with students on a daily basis, planning and running classes, primarily for teens and adults ranging from 13 and up. You will also work with staff to promote the school to potential clients, running trial courses and speaking about our program to parents.

Candidates are preferred to have a minimum of a first degree black belt in any style of martial arts and at least one year of teaching/childcare experience.
Skills Required:
· Ability to work 15-25 hours a week, Monday thru Friday
· Possession of a valid drivers license, a clean driving record, and comfortable driving students to assist with after school pickup
· Have at minimum of 1-2 years of training in any martial arts style, black belt preferred
· Ability to learn and teach our curriculum, and take personal investment in developing their martial arts skills
· Be a team player, willing to train and learn alongside our other facility instructors
· Provide excellent customer service and quality classes to fellow students, and families
· A desire to grow and promote our program, as a leader within the school
· Comfortable speaking with parents and clients, both on the phone and in person
· Assist with the basic cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of the school and equipment
