Instructor - Liberal Arts teaches courses in the discipline area of liberal arts. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Liberal Arts provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Liberal Arts typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced BJJ Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. As a Martial Arts Instructor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and teach students of all ages in various martial arts disciplines. If you have a strong background in martial arts and enjoy working with students, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:
- Conduct martial arts classes for students of all ages and skill levels
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Teach proper techniques, forms, and movements in various martial arts styles such as Karate, Judo, and more
- Provide guidance and support to students to help them improve their skills and reach their goals
- Ensure the safety of all students during training sessions
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback on their performance
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environmentRequirements:
- Previous experience working with students in a martial arts setting
- Strong knowledge and expertise in various martial arts styles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively demonstrate techniques and provide clear instructions
- Experience in behavior management techniques for working with children
- Lifeguard certification is a plus
- Additional skills or experience in swim, basketball, childcare, or cheerleading is desirableWe offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
