Instructor - Liberal Arts teaches courses in the discipline area of liberal arts. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Liberal Arts provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Liberal Arts typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. We are seeking a part-time or full-time instructor to work evenings and weekends.
Hours are very compatible with a part-time college schedule.
Applicants must have a background in taekwondo (WT). Preferred one year of assisting experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must. The instructor is responsible for helping teach the curriculum to students and helping the Master in leading the class.
Assistant Instructor duties include but are not limited to-
-Teaching school curriculum to students
-Directing children
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Customer service
- Like to work with children
- Able to pass PA criminal background check and child abuse clearances
Regular hours:
Mon to Fri: 3:30PM-8:40PM
Sat: 10:00AM-1:30PM
Pre-planned events will occasionally require additional hours but never without notice.
License/Certification:
-Black Belt in a recognized martial art (Required)
-Driver's License (Required)
