| GENERAL DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dynamic Mathematics Instructor with the flexibility to adapt to various teaching environments while effectively embedding academic curriculum into career technical programming on a competency-based model. This Instructor will also provide personalized learning to small groups of students with specific needs on designated days.
For the 2024 – 2025 school year this position will design and pilot curriculum integration with Aviation and Engineering labs at Fairfield Township Campus.
In the 2025 – 2026 school year this position will relocate to the newly opened Aviation Center and will travel to the Manufacturing Center to provide a mix of hybrid, face-to-face, and online instruction.
| QUALIFICATIONS- Appropriate licensure/certification through the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce covering all high school Mathematics course areas such as Integrated Mathematics (110094);
- Experience teaching both academic and career technical content is a plus;
- Willingness/ability to work with students, teachers and administrators as a team member;
- Computer expertise appropriate to the position;
- Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills;
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance;
- History of strong work record, including good job attendance; and
- Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy.
| STARTING DATE August 2024
| SALARY Based upon experience and education ($49,667 – 103,605)
| BENEFITS Includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; tuition reimbursement
| WORK YEAR Follows a modified calendar of 185 days - 185 days - 7.5 hours/day
| DEADLINE Internal: February 21, 2024; External: February 28, 2024 or Until Filled
