NDCR is part of the Cristo Rey Network, a growing association of 39 schools across the United States whose education model is built around the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP), a unique and highly successful partnership with the business community. Through the CWSP, each of our scholars works five full days per month during the academic year at one of 75 companies throughout the Merrimack Valley, I-93/495 corridors, and southern New Hampshire. OUR MISSION AND VISION: In the tradition of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, Notre Dame Cristo Rey High School provides a Catholic, affordable, culturally sensitive, college preparatory education enhanced by professional work experience for young women and men from families with limited income. OUR CORE VALUES: Goodness of God · Education for Life · Integrity · Respect · Family · Community RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach Mathematics, exact course may depend on applicant’s background. NDCR follows the Integrated Math Curriculum which encourages students to explore mathematical concepts with an emphasis on higher order thinking skills. Each of the three courses, Math I, Math II, and Math III contain standards from number and quantity, algebra, function, geometry, and statistics and probability. •Design and create appropriate lesson plans. Implement the Mathematics Curriculum aligned with the Cristo Rey Standards and TRU math framework. •Use developmentally and behaviorally age-appropriate tools, materials, activities including Sicilion Valley Math Initiative (SVMI) resources. •Collaborate with other teachers, instructional leaders, and partners to ensure instruction is meeting the needs of all students. •Attend virtual and in-person Cristo Rey Network math professional development trainings. •Maintain all pertinent records in PowerSchool. •Create a safe, purposeful classroom environment that prioritizes learning for all students. •Assess students regularly, analyze data, and determine appropriate next steps for instruction. •Build relationships and communicate regularly with students and their families to solicit input and share academic progress.
