Instructor - Mathematics teaches courses in the discipline area of mathematics and statistics. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Mathematics provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Mathematics typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. - Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans.
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students.
- Knowledge of a wide range of mathematic subject areas, including arithmetic equations, calculus, trigonometry, geometry, and other related areas.
- Ability to participate in meetins at the department, school and district level as needed.
- Ability to use computer network system and software applications as needed.
- Ability to organize and coordinate work.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff..
- Ability to work with diverse individuals and/ or small groups on one-on-one groups
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.

Qualification Profile
Education
- HIgh School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Successful prior teaching experience in Mathematics as a teacher or tutor
- Demonstrated knowledge of the needs of all students and the community in mathematics.
- Leadership experience, including professional development training for staff, in mathematics.
