**Job Description:**

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Math Teacher to teach a range of math courses at the secondary level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a passion for teaching. As a Math Teacher, you will have the opportunity to engage students in challenging and meaningful learning experiences, develop their confidence as mathematicians, and foster a love for math that extends beyond the classroom.

**Responsibilities:**

- Teach a range of math courses at the secondary level, including but not limited to Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Trigonometry, and/or Calculus.

- Develop and implement engaging and rigorous lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students and align with state standards.

- Use a variety of instructional strategies and technology tools to enhance student learning and engagement.

- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their growth and development.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and integrate math into other subject areas.

- Create a positive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and challenged to reach their full potential.

**Qualifications:**

- New York State certification in Mathematics Education (Grades 7-12).

- Strong content knowledge in mathematics and confidence in teaching a range of math courses.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love for math in all students.

- Ability to differentiate instruction and support the diverse needs of learners.

- Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

Pay: $56,500.00 - $67,000.00 per year
