Instructor - Mechanical Engineering teaches courses in the discipline area of mechanical engineering. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Mechanical Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Mechanical Engineering typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Description
- Permanent position for a Field Engineer to perform mechanical / machine tear down, build/rebuild and repair, pre-commissioning testing and procedures to meet customer requirements.
- Responsible for planning and executing mechanical service sales and service marketing programs for mechanical process equipment, including agitators, mixers, millers, etc.
- Responsible for all customer-related aspects from service on site, assembly and repair.
- Work on maintenance, inspection, and operations of existing equipment to achieve reliable operations.
- Act as a trusted mechanical service technician / advisor to customers and their technical staff.
- Travel approximately 50% of the time performing field duties.
- Assist with new machine builds in the shop and in-house repairs.
- BS Engineering preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in field service work for mechanical equipment, including testing and repair.
- Experience performing new machine builds, tear downs, re-builds.
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office software and CRM software (Salesforce).
- Ability to travel in North America 40-50% of the time.
