Work Schedule:
Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in contract teaching at the College in both a classroom and clinical setting. Area of focus is hands-on clinical medical assisting education.
You will be working with a diverse group of students ranging from recent high school graduates to returning students embarking on a new career. Schedule is flexible and will be 16-20 hours per week for 8 weeks. Typical schedule would be afternoon hours 4-5 days/week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: A certificate from a regionally accredited college or university in medical assisting, along with CMA or RMA certification.
Experience: Three (3) years of practicing as a nurse or medical assistant with an aptitude for teaching in the field.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Scope of Work:
To coordinate course, course delivery and program activities for non-credit Medical Assistant Certification Training at Great Bay Community College. The position is a contractual, temporary position for a specified contract period.
