We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist to join our team. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Provide administrative support such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records
- Coordinate patient check-in and check-out processes
- Verify insurance information and collect payments
- Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient workflow
Experience:
- Previous experience in medical administrative support or as a medical receptionist in pain medicine, experience authorizing and scheduling procedures is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in using various administrative systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, etc.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Bilingual preferable but not required.
