Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Piano Teacher to join our team. As a Piano Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality piano instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging and effective piano lesson plans
- Teach students proper piano techniques, music theory, and sight-reading skills
- Provide individualized instruction based on each student's needs and goals
- Select appropriate repertoire for students to practice and perform
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare students for recitals, competitions, and other performance opportunities
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and support student learning
- Stay updated on current teaching methods and music education trends

Requirements:
- College degree in piano performance or equivalent
- Proficient in playing the piano with a strong understanding of music theory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, enthusiastic, and able to motivate students
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Knowledge of adult education, early childhood education, or special education is a plus
- Previous experience teaching piano is a plus
