Being an Instructor - Music provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Music typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. This is an extremely flexible music teaching position that connects you with students to travel to based on your availability, and as far as you're willing to travel. (Ideally within 10-20 miles)
We are seeking highly qualified individuals with an understanding of music theory who exemplify professionalism and transparency, with strong communication skills, a desire to grow in teaching skills, and a passion for seeing students grow in their understanding of music.
Most of our current instructors have waitlists of students needing a teacher. The bulk of our need is in piano & guitar instruction, but we have drum, vocal, and string leads, too!
Our aim is to be the trusted source for in-home music education in DFW.
