Job Summary
ECTC is seeking a full-time Instructor for our evening Associate Degree Nursing Program. The instructor will be responsible for both didactic and clinical instruction. Clinical sites may include long-term care, acute care, and rehabilitation centers. Candidates must possess a solid commitment to teaching, a willingness to work with a diverse population, and be dedicated to the mission of Elizabethtown Community & Technical College. This position will report to the allied health and biological sciences Division Chair and is grant-funded for the first year.
Job Duties:
Applicants will teach 15 credit hours per semester and be responsible for advising, institutional service, external service, professional development, and educational leadership. Assignments may include some weekend and off-campus courses.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Master’s Degree in Nursing and/or Nursing Education or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing with completion of a Master’s Degree in Nursing within 5 years of hire.
Certification or Professional License: Must hold a current unencumbered license or privilege to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
