Experience in healthcare education in a variety of modalities or educational delivery methods, with experience teaching at a community college and/or in an undergraduate nursing program preferred

Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to creatively and collaboratively seek continuous improvement in reaching a variety of goals set forth by the organization

Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, technology, as well as staff and/or student mentoring

Proven training, mentoring or instructional experience, utilizing effective communication strategies, with diverse audiences, demonstrating an ability to create and nurture a sense of well-being and belonging

Demonstrated ability to utilize culturally responsive and equity-focused practices with a diverse population and work environment

A portion of the 6% will be diverted to The Employee Pension Stability Account as mandated by Senate Bill 1049. PCC offers a tax deferred annuity program and a deferred compensation program where employees may save additional pre-tax dollars for retirement.

Additionally, PCC provides a tuition waiver for courses offered at PCC for yourself, domestic partner, and dependent children under 24 years of age; plus partial tuition reimbursement for yourself at other accredited institutions.

Instructors shall have earned required academic credentials at a regionally accredited US institution or a foreign institution having the equivalent of regional accreditation.

Instructors with credentials from other countries will have their transcripts evaluated by agencies that have good standing with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services to establish fulfillment of this standard.
