LOCATION: Sackett Technical Center, Glenfield, New York
DUTIES: Nursing Instructor position: full-time/daytime faculty position in the Practical Nursing Program. Position will be responsible for successfully performing the professional duties of didactic, simulation lab and clinical instruction. Position will be responsible for the following: student advisement and discipline, accreditation including course and program revision, program development, assessment development and monitoring, and perform other professional duties as directed and/or approved by the Health Careers Coordinator or Supervisor of Adult & Continuing Education.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required (will consider actively enrolled)
Unencumbered New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse
Minimum experience two years as an RN with medical-surgical experience
Current CPR/BLS card and/or instructor card
Pre-Employment Assessment and NYSED Requirements:
Approved fingerprints prior to hire date, DASA Training and SAVE Workshop, Child Abuse Identification Workshop, and acquisition of certification as per hire.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: $50,000-$55,000. This is a full time, 10-month position. Commensurate with experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement.
