Instructor - Nursing teaches courses in the discipline area of nursing. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Nursing provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Nursing typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Temporary Nursing Assistant Qualifications:
- Temporary Nursing Assistant Certificate 8 HR Course Prior to January 11,2022
- Basic computer skills
Temporary Nursing Assistant Duties:
- Recording vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse rate, as requested by staff
- Reminding patients to take medications and other nutritional supplements as needed
- The ability to think and work independently, with direction from a team leader or manager, while maintaining efficient and consistent communications at all times
- Provide adjunct patient care as needed. This can include delivering ice packs and dressings to help relieve pain while in therapy or baths for soothing purposes after their session has ended
- Process a wide range of information from other professionals and work with physicians, caregivers, and nurses
- Closely monitor and record food intake, as well as urinary and fecal output, to be shared with key medical and nursing staff
