About This Opportunity
Joining our Philosophy, Languages, and Religious Studies team, the Instructor of Philosophy & Ethics will be responsible for the following:
The successful candidate will primarily teach General Education courses, Medical Ethics, and Business Ethics. Candidates who can develop coursework in alignment with the University's mission are especially desirable. The standard teaching load is 24 credits per year (4-4 teaching load); nine-month teaching contract. We seek a faculty member who can engage students from diverse backgrounds and teach classes that support a variety of departments and programs.
Required Qualifications
PhD Preferred. Evidence of teaching excellence is required. Candidates are invited to describe their experiences engaging with diversity (e.g., race, gender, sexuality, religion, culture, etc.) in the classroom as part of their teaching statement.
