Spin Instructor (Fitness Instructor)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Class Instruction

• Be comfortable to teach and confidently lead groups of 3 – 12 clients ranging in fitness levels
• Bring unmatched positive energy and enthusiasm to every class
• Competently and clearly explain and demonstrate proper form
• Be able to quickly fix form, give cues and modifications when needed
• Work independently and/or with other trainers to program a variety of workouts to keep Members challenged and engaged
• Develop relationships with all Members, knowing names and what their why is

Qualifications:

• Understand the principles of physical fitness and proper exercise technique
• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR/AED
• Group Fitness Instructor from an accredited source, such as NASM, ACE, AFFA, etc.
• Current Spin/Cycle Instructor Certification

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• The noise level in the environment is occasionally loud
• Extended workdays are a frequent occurrence, as are weekends and holidays as needed to support the business
