Instructor - Physical Therapy teaches courses in the discipline area of physical therapy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Physical Therapy provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Physical Therapy typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. AmaZing! Physical Therapy Technicians Apply Now!
Responsibilities
- Prepares patients for treatment, assisting with transfers and transportation as needed.
- Prepares equipment and treatment areas for patients.
- Cleans treatment areas, keeps gym area tidy.
- Assures supplies in treatment area.
- Efficient patient set up with modalities to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Completes opening and closing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- H.S. diploma or GED required.
- Pre-physical therapy/allied health degree tract preferred or background in health/wellness or personal training.
