Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Physics typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research.     Job Summary



    Duties: Work with the faculty laboratory coordinator to provide a regular set of tutoring hours for students in the PHYS 201,202, 231, and 232 courses. The candidate tutor must be committed to providing group and individual tutoring to students during specific days and evening hours in the Physics Student Lounge of Lappin Hall. The tutor is expected to work with all PHYS 201/202/231/232 teaching faculty to keep abreast of upcoming exams and provide specific exam review sessions for each course.
