Part Time Psychologist

  • Summary of the Position

    Cedar Psychology is seeking to hire a part-time (with the option to build up to full-time) psychodynamically/psychoanalytically oriented therapist in the state of Colorado. The ideal candidate is able to work with individuals, couples, and teens, with preference going to someone who has specialties in women’s mental health as well as adolescent mental health. This position requires a minimum of 10 hours and the work can be remote/in-person.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Minimum of 10 clinical hours (45 min) per week
    • Individual Adult Therapy
    • Teen/Adolescent Therapy
    • Couples Therapy
    • Complete documentation within 24-48 hours
    • Consultation calls with prospective clients when scheduled (the calls are 15 min)
    • Maintain a high retention rate
    • Respond to messages within 24 business hours
    • Maintain licensure and abide by all regulations, laws, and ethics codes

    Required Education and Experience

    • PhD, PsyD in Clinical or Counseling from an APA accredited institution
    • Licensure in state of CO in good standing
    • Current malpractice insurance
    • Grounded in psychodynamic/psychoanalytic theories and either specializing in these theories or willing to deepen their understanding of these theories while working at Cedar Psychology
    • Commitment to diversity, inclusivity, social justice, and anti-oppression

We have specialities in the areas of treating personality disorders, high executives, individuals dealing with infertility, narcissistic abuse, and many more.
