Director of Rehabilitation- Skilled Nursing Facility

Our Skilled Nursing Facility values the well-being and rehabilitation of our patients. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Director of Rehabilitation to join our team and lead our skilled and compassionate rehabilitation department.

As the Director of Rehabilitation, you will play a critical role in our mission to provide exceptional care to our residents. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our rehabilitation department, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality therapy services to promote their recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical oversight, guidance, and expertise to a team of dedicated therapists, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists.

• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans that are tailored to each patient's needs, goals, and abilities.

• Recruit, train, and manage rehabilitation staff, ensuring that they are well-equipped to provide outstanding care to our residents.

• Maintain and monitor quality assurance standards, compliance with regulations, and best practices in rehabilitation services.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and social workers, to create a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist with a valid state license.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a rehabilitation department within a healthcare setting.

• Strong knowledge of Skilled Nursing Facility regulations and reimbursement guidelines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
