Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Rehabilitation provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Rehabilitation typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Assist in preparation and set up treatment areas as directed by therapists in all departments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas; work with clerical tasks and in exercise classes as needed (if applicable); assist with direct patient care in the acute and in outpatient settings; maximize safety of the patient; maintain supplies in all areas; maintain up-to-date log books. Cross trains to be able to relieve other staff members. Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager or Director.
High school diploma or equivalent. Good people skills.
