We need a Registered Nurse with a zeal for education to complement our current N.A. instructors.

Our NA instructors train the next generation of certified nursing assistants – the bedrock of skilled nursing care. You'll watch each student, beyond the classroom, develop their skills and advance along a continuum of opportunities in the senior care industry.

You will:

• Provide direct instruction to Nursing Assistant (NA) students
• Ensure required regulatory education follows state-specific requirements.
• Ensures NA students can pass state-required testing to become Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Provide CPR w/BLS training to N.A. students.
• Create and provide class schedules.
• Assist as a floor nurse in the skilled nursing community when not conducting a class.

You currently:

• Possess a CPR/BLS certification and a valid nurse license in the state of instruction.
• Experience teaching is preferred, but the right attitude and drive override this expectation.
• Have one year of nursing experience in a licensed nursing facility.
• Excellent written and oral communication and motivational skills.
• Problem-solve in both resident care and employee situations.
