Instructor - Social Work teaches courses in the discipline area of social work. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Social Work provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Social Work typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. We are looking for a swim instructor to teach group and private lessons at our indoor pool in Rigby.
Required Work Experience/Skills:
- 1 years working with infants, toddlers or children
- Friendly and willing to communicate with children and parents
- Dependable. We offer flexible scheduling but it can be hard to get last minute time off when teaching set lessons.
- Reliable transportation.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of appropriate developmental milestones
- Past experience with developmental delays and disabilities
- Swim experience
Shifts Preferred:
Morning 8:30am-12:30pm AND/OR Evening 2:30pm-6:30pm
We do adjust your schedule to fit other work/school commitments and allow for schedule changes as needed.
