Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Social Work provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Social Work typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research.     Job Description
    Future leaders sought. Immediate need for leaders who can drive Accountability in a Professional, Civil environment. Must be able to demonstrate ability to lead with: Fairness, Consistency, Respectfulness and Transparency.
    Work Leaderman position is responsible for assisting supervisors with job assignment of craft workers. Other key responsibilities are training craft personnel, working on his/her tools as a journeyman within specified craft and substituting for foreman when he/she is not available. Position is considered to be a transitional assignment for personnel interested in pursuing craft management positions.
    Basic Qualifications
    Must be a current employee of HII-Ingalls to be considered for this position.
    • Must have a High School Diploma/GED and 1 year active experience as a Pipe-Insulator Journeyman at Ingalls or a graduate of craft specific apprenticeship program.
    • Superior Attendance and Disciplinary Record.
    • Candidate cannot have more than 3 unexcused absences in the last 180 day period.
    • Candidate cannot have any safety DANS that result in a disciplinary layoff in last 180 day period.
    • Candidate cannot have more than 2 total DANS in the last 180 day period (excluding lost tool).
    • At time of application currently in the classification of Journeyman
