Job Location: 428 Shaw Dr, Shaw Air Force Base, SC, United States, South Carolina.
Schedule: 15-16 one-hour classes weekly, including two aerobathons bi-annually, across six days (Monday-Saturday).
Qualifications:- Maintain valid certifications from recognized fitness associations such as AFAA, ACE, NAFTA, ACSM, AAAI/ISMA, NETA, AFPA, and Coopers.
- Possess a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in providing quality fitness instruction.
- Ensure current CPR certification for all instructors.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to schedule changes and emergency situations.
- Lead a range of aerobic and advanced fitness classes as outlined in the schedule, ensuring a high level of expertise in the respective discipline.
- Educate participants on safety measures and proper exercise techniques.
- Maintain professional attire during classes.
- Provide a list of instructors before scheduled classes.
- Collaborate with Fitness Center Director/Section Chief regarding deployment and operational hour changes.
- Engage in Fitness Improvement Programs targeting personnel not meeting fitness standards.
- Organize and lead aerobathons and functional fitness classes.
- Conduct prenatal and postnatal fitness classes focusing on core strength and recovery.
