Instructor - Sociology jobs in Bergenfield, NJ

Felician University is offering exciting opportunities for Adjunct Professors in Sociology for the 2022-2023 academic year. Under the mentorship of full-time faculty, adjunct instructors will provide classroom experiences grounded in “best practices” for higher education and their respective disciplines.

Position Type:   

Adjunct Part-time, 1-2 courses per semester during the 2022-2023  academic year, maximum 3 days per week. Day and evening classes available.

Department:

School of Arts and Sciences , SBS/Sociology department

Required Education:

ABD, MA degree at a minimum, doctoral degree preferred.

Qualifications: 

Experience and certification in online teaching, expertise and experience in teaching a broad spectrum of Sociology courses: Stratification, Marriage and Family, Intro.to Sociology, Sociological Theory, Sociology of Sex and Gender, and Urban Sociology. Must have taught at a 4 year Baccalaureate degree institution for at least 3 years.
