Description
POSITION : Shop Instructor Part Time
Department : Education - Build Trybe
Starting Salary : $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES : This position is a shop instructor teaching in a metal working and wood working shop. Employee will be responsible for providing regular classes and workshops for youth apprentices.
They will through these classes and workshops help these youth learn work expectations, shop safety, basic woodworking, basic metalworking, and basic tool use.
Through these classes instructor will with students to create products, work on commissions, and assist with large and small builds.
Instructor will help maintain a successful, clean, and inviting shop space.
This is a part time evening and weekend position.
This position exists to help youth learn valuable trade skills that can help them find employment and job opportunities in the community.
This position and program will work with the rest of the department to train and equip the youth for future employment. It will do this while actively engaging in a real world business model connected with the learning program bringing capital and resources into the department.
