Instructor - Special Education teaches courses in the discipline area of special education. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Special Education provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Special Education typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Position DescriptionEpic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for several contract School Psychologists for the 2023-2024 school year.
- Location: Fullerton, CA
- Duration: Immediately - May 31, 2024
- Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
- Full or Part Time: Full Time
- Schedule: 40 hours/week
- Grade/Age Levels: Kinder to 12th-Grade

- Hourly pay is based on national averages and will vary based on location, experience, qualifications and local or travel positions.

Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for a School Psych:
- 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a psychologist within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
- Valid PPS Credential (school psychologist) or in process
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
