Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Special Education provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Special Education typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research.     Position Description

    Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for several contract Special Education Teachers for the school year.

    • Location: Greenville, SC
    • Duration: Immediately - May 25, 2024
    • Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
    • Full or Part Time: Full Time
    • Schedule: 37.5 hours/week
    • Grade/Age Levels: Elementary School, Middle School

    Qualifications

    The minimum qualifications for a Special Education Teacher:

    • 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
    • Valid Special Education Teacher credential/license or in process in the state of practice
    • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
