Instrumentation/Calibration Technician jobs in Gulfport, MS
Instrumentation/Calibration Technician calibrate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment used in a laboratory or manufacturing plant. Conduct routine testing and preventative maintenance to ensure conformance to established calibration standards. Being an Instrumentation/Calibration Technician experience using calibration software and diagnostic tools. Understanding of standards such as ISO,GMP,QSR. Additionally, Instrumentation/Calibration Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Instrumentation/Calibration Technician gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision. TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of Suspension Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair
- Knowledge of Brake System Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair
- Knowledge of Electrical System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair
- Knowledge of Hydraulic System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair
- Proficient in the use of Diagnostic tools with the ability to interpret and make repairs from Service Manuals
- Ability to complete work within Suggested Repair Times (SRTs) and the ability to estimate time and material required for repairs
- Knowledge to provide assistance and guidance to Assistant Technicians and Shop Helpers.
- CDL Class B (preferred within 12 months)
