Instrumentation/Calibration Technician calibrate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment used in a laboratory or manufacturing plant. Conduct routine testing and preventative maintenance to ensure conformance to established calibration standards. Being an Instrumentation/Calibration Technician experience using calibration software and diagnostic tools. Understanding of standards such as ISO,GMP,QSR. Additionally, Instrumentation/Calibration Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Instrumentation/Calibration Technician gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision. Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft components and accessories in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, identifying all needed parts, tools and supplies for non-routine discrepancy findings.
Ensures all aircraft maintenance documentation complies with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals to include specific chapters.
Performs set-up, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies of repaired products and is able to perform maintenance on 145 shop support equipment.
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, be a team player with a professional attitude, actively participate in continuous improvement, accurately account for time on task, can maintain a clean, professional work area, and is familiar with the SMS policies, processes, and procedures.
MUST:
· HAVE BASIC MECHANICAL ABILITIES.
· BE PREPARED TO WORK 40 HOURS/WEEK AT OLYMPIA AIRPORT, TUMWATER, WA.
· HAVE BASIC DC-AC ELECTRONIC SKILLS.
· HAVE BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF HYDRAULICS OR PNEUMATICS OR ELECTRO-MECHANICAL MOTION CONTROL CONCEPTS.
