Instrumentation/Calibration Technician calibrate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment used in a laboratory or manufacturing plant. Conduct routine testing and preventative maintenance to ensure conformance to established calibration standards. Being an Instrumentation/Calibration Technician experience using calibration software and diagnostic tools. Understanding of standards such as ISO,GMP,QSR. Additionally, Instrumentation/Calibration Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Instrumentation/Calibration Technician gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision. Position Summary :
The I&E Technician is a member of a multidiscipline operations team, reporting to the Pipeline Foreman. The main purpose of this position is to perform the inspection and maintenance of electrical systems, flow meters, quality control analyzers, pressure sensing devices, and valve actuators on the pipeline system.
The I&E Technician will work closely with other crafts in the Operations organization to ensure safe and reliable operation of the pipeline system.
This position will require the ability to work in adverse weather conditions and be subject to after-hours call out.
