Insulation Worker jobs in New York
Insulation Worker applies insulating material to exposed surfaces of structures such as air ducts, hot and cold pipes, storage tanks, and cold storage rooms. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being an Insulation Worker is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Insulation Worker performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. Looking for hard working, reliable installers with insulation experience on existing homes. Working in attics, crawl spaces and basements. Removal of siding and drilling holes into exterior of homes. Blowing cellulose into sidewalls & attic spaces. Pay will be based on experience level. Monday – Friday 730am - 400pm, Year-round work, Overtime Available. Must have a valid drivers license. Must be presentable, able to communicate with customers on site.
