Insulation Worker jobs in Tallahassee, FL
Insulation Worker applies insulating material to exposed surfaces of structures such as air ducts, hot and cold pipes, storage tanks, and cold storage rooms. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being an Insulation Worker is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Insulation Worker performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. Looking for experienced insulation Installer to assist with all types of insulation work. We are looking for someone who already resides in the Tallahassee, or surrounding areas as work is generally located in Leon County. Normal work-hours are between 8-5 Monday through Friday, however some weekend work, and early or later evening hours may be required as temperatures change. Must be able to handle the physically demanding aspects of insulation work. Must have a valid driver's license, and transportation to and from work. Additional qualities desired are reliability, honesty, and excellent work-ethic. Advancement opportunities exist if the right candidate is found.
