Job Description:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven Medicare Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with their Medicare options, including explaining the differences between Medicare Parts A, B, C and D, and helping them choose the right Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement or Prescription Drug plans based on their healthcare needs and financial considerations.

Responsibilities:

• Educate clients on the intricacies of Medicare plans and the enrollment process.
• Assist clients in comparing and selecting Medicare plans that best suit their medical needs and budget.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest changes and updates in Medicare regulations and offerings.
• Manage client accounts and maintain records of client interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, resolving any issues related to their Medicare plans.
• Handle customer issues and inquiries via phone or email, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
• Document all customer interactions in the CRM system accurately for continuity and compliance.
• Leverage networking and referrals.
• Assist, and eventual conduct, presentations and seminars to educate potential clients and community groups on Medicare options.

Qualifications:

• Valid state health insurance license, or willingness to obtain.
• Medicare and plan certifications required annually.
• Strong understanding of customer service principles, particularly in health insurance or Medicare, is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to empathize with and prioritize customer needs.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience as Medicare Insurance Agent or similar role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
