Job Summary

Busy Farm Bureau agency is seeking an eager and motivated candidate to fill the entry level sales opportunity within our team. Farm Bureau is a reputable company that takes pride in its ability to provide excellent customer care for our clients. This role’s responsibilities include but are not limited to, generating leads, attracting new customers, creating and submitting sales reports, evaluating the needs of the customer, and closing deals.

Candidate should have the ability to build relationships, have good communication skills, and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Sell various types of insurance policies to individuals and businesses.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Develop networking relationships.
• Solicits for business via telephone, texting or emailing, networking, and lead sources, including social media.
• Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve any issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• State Licensing will need to be obtained (Company Reimbursed)
• Previous experience in sales
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Positive attitude and punctual
• Strong computer skills including ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
