Commercial Insurance Agent
We are looking for someone to join our team of experienced agents. The education necessary to obtain insurance licensing certification will be provided, however a long term commitment will be expected. This is an opportunity for a rewarding career.
We are a well-established agency looking for a highly organized customer-oriented sales and service representative to assist our primary Commercial agent with necessary tasks. This position will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our commercial customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. We expect our representatives to be patient, empathetic, and communicative. Problem-solving skills are a must. They are expected to be confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer complaints or issues. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
There will be sales opportunities as well that result in additional bonus income.
Responsibilities
Manage varying flows of incoming calls
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
Assist sales team in achieving goals
Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Take the time to go the extra mile to engage customers
Skills
Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
Familiarity with computer/data management systems and practices
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
High school degree
Insurance industry experience and licensing a plus but can be obtained

Pay: $25,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
